About Me
Experienced educator and transformational leader with over a decade of success in developing, implementing, and assessing educational and prevention programing across diverse settings (for-profit, non-profit, government, military, community settings, and education); as well as an extensive set of academic credentials, a diverse array of leadership and management expertise, and a passion for understanding and empowering the intersectional nature and expression of people’s various identities.
Demonstrated expertise in driving organizational improvement, fostering inclusive cultures, and enhancing program efficacy through strategic initiatives and data analysis.
I am currently in Baltimore, Maryland at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) serving as the inaugural Core Values Program Director.
Most recently, I served as the Lead Sexual Assault Response Coordinator and Alternate SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Assault, Response and Prevention) Program Manager at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. There, my goal was to reduce the prevalence of sexual violence amongst West Point Cadets by implementing educational programs aimed at increasing Cadet knowledge and skills within the areas of bystander intervention, healthy relationship skills, and establishing positive norms about gender/sexuality.
I have a passion for understanding and empowering the intersectional nature and expression of people’s various identities. I believe that by improving communication amongst people within communities, the cultural stigma that causes people to feel the need to hide important parts of themselves can evolve into cultural norms which accept all identities and behaviors.
